    (Adult)-Mar 23- 6-9pm- This vintage blouse pattern from the 1930s is so pretty and flattering, it will appeal to even the most devoted tailored suit person. It is a wrap blouse with a saddle yoke at the shoulder and flowing, elbow-length sleeves. There is shirring at the shoulders in the front and ties that wrap around the back and meet at the front waist.You will want a medium to lightweight fabric with a nice drape. Silk, voile, rayon, gauze and chiffon are all great.     South Bay Modern Quilt Guild Meeting

    (Adult) April 4- 6:30-8:30pm- We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm @ Harts Fabric in Santa Cruz, CA. In addition to our monthly guild meetings we host sew days, workshops, and an annual quilt retreat. Our guild members also design and create charity quilts. Our membership year is from January to December. Joining our local guild also gives you membership to the Modern Quilt Guild (MQG). September of 2016 is our five year guild founding anniversary.     (Adult) April 13- 6-9pm- This is a two in one pattern from Named of Finnland that includes the Inari Tee Dress and the Inari Cropped Tee. This pattern is very versatile and can work for any season.The pattern includes two variations: A loose-fitting tee dress and a cropped A-line tee Short sleeves with a rolled-up effect. The dress is slightly cocoon-shaped, with an uneven hemline. Slits at the sides of the dress. Finish the neckline with a facing or a separate neckband. Choose a light to medium weight fabric, non-stretch or with slight stretch. If you make the neckline with the neckband, choose a stretch material, such as firm jersey or a rib-knit, for the band piece.
