Linen and Linen Blend Fabric

Linen fabric is spun from thread that is made from fibers of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). Flax is widely cultivated and it's the slender stems from which the textile fiber is obtained.

Linen is sometimes blended with a little bit of rayon, cotton, or Tencel (lycocell). These additions are used to enhance the fine fabric.
